Something we all need in our normal lives is creativity or imagination. Our imagination is probably the most powerful thing our minds have mainly because its our own creative ideas and that we can make anything out of it. Based on what we believe we can think of anything depending on your ideas. Having freedom has its benefits and one of those benefits is imagination.
Imagination...it has created nearly everything you can think of because one person had an idea and pursued that idea and created it. Imagination probably created everything on this Earth. Being free means to not be controlled physically by authorities but as well as pursuing your ideas and having rights to be yourself. I've done some research on other blogs about imagination and based on some of these blogs one of them really inspired me as it said "The Imagination is Freedom in action". Based on that quote I think its mostly true because if you are thinking about something or pursuing something you want to do in your future you have freedom in what you want.
Negative and positive thoughts can change your freedom when it comes to imagination. For example if you always say to yourself that you will never get an A+ on a test or in school then you will never get there mainly because its negative and its discouraging therefore causing you to believe that you will never get there. But if it were the opposite then its possible that you may get there. Besides effecting grades, imagination can effect your self esteem and your characteristics. An example of this is is you think very low of yourself then you will never get yo your goal and always be a sad person. If you are positive then most of the time you will have things work out for you. Being too positive can be good but isn't really recommended mostly because it can make you act in a "weird" type of way and if you are two positive to some extent then you may become arrogant. So what you want is something in the middle to balance out everything but at the same time to have a good self esteem and doing good in your daily life.
Based on the topic of my whole blog which is what something is worth fighting for, imagination and freedom are probably two things that are definitely worth fighting for. So put it like this, if you had no freedom physically but you dreamed of things or had unique thoughts of anything then you are free based on what you think. What I mean by this is that don't always face reality in what it really is because sometimes you can change how you see it with just the spark of an idea. The idea you may have is definitely your choice but if you always are negative you will never be free and vise versa so if you are positive you will become free. The message I am trying to convey is that you should have ideas, think positively and have a high self esteem if you have those requirements and possibly other traits then you will have freedom no matter what situation your in.

Ian I like your idea about imaginary and you gave some examples too. I think you could add more details and more explanations to make it perfect. Your idea about imagination is important because without imaginary we can't be free or successful. From your post I learned that imaginaries could be strong enough to make people free. I also made a connection to what you wrote. In my blog I wrote about wills which is similar with imaginary because with strong will you can be successful if you only don't give up. So what you are saying is that if people have imaginaries than they can work towards freedom and they can be free. Is this correct?
ReplyDeleteIan,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your blog because I could tell that you really believe in imagination and value freedom. I really like your second paragraph where you talk about people who imagined things in their heads and then ended up actually inventing these things. I would have liked it if you gave an example of a person who did that. I see you don't have any hyper links, you might want to add those in with a couple of examples, such as people who imagined things and invented them or who (third paragraph) weren't physically free but who still had the power to imagine great things. That would give other readers who are interested an opportunity to look further. Overall, great topic, I loved your blog post!
Yes I agree I do need to add more details and hyperlinks. Im glad that you learned more things from my blog post. Thanks for your feedback and thank you for loving my blog post. :P
